Qatar and UK Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Talks on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign affairs announced that the foreign ministers of Qatar and the United Kingdom discussed recent developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories during a telephone conversation.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry statement highlighted that mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al thani stressed to his British counterpart David Lammy the urgent need for increased international efforts to end the Israeli regime’s brutal war against Gaza.
Earlier, Majid Al Ansari, spokesman for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noted that Israel has so far refused a ceasefire proposal in Gaza. He added that Israel’s plan to occupy Gaza threatens everyone ther, including prisoners.
