Spain Reviews Arms Embargo on the Zionist Regime
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Spanish newspaper El Pais reported today that the spanish government is considering accelerating a ban on arms exports to Israel as part of a sanctions package expected to be approved on Tuesday.
The Spanish outlet added that Madrid’s potential sanctions aim to pressure Israel following the killing of approximately 64,000 people in Gaza and expanding settlement construction in the West Bank.
The report further states that the PSOE and Sumar coalition is working toward imposing a thorough arms embargo on Israel. Consequently, sanctions against Tel Aviv will extend beyond just military industries. The goal is to expedite enforcement through a royal decree based on legislation previously introduced by Sumar in Congress. according to government sources, these measures could be implemented instantly.
El Pais also noted that the proposed embargo would prohibit selling, supplying, transferring, or exporting weapons and technology directly or indirectly to Israel. The new law would also ban importing military products from Israel such as small arms, ammunition, or technical assistance.
