Hamas: Occupiers Have Stalled the Negotiations
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, a Hamas insider told Al Arabi that the occupiers have completely halted the negotiation process.
The source stated that the occupiers claim negotiations are ongoing as a means to mislead and deceive public opinion.
The source added that since August 18, the occupiers have not responded to mediators’ proposals.
This comes while Hamas issued a statement hours earlier emphasizing its readiness and willingness to consider any ideas or proposals leading to a permanent ceasefire, full withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza Strip, unconditional entry of humanitarian aid, and genuine prisoner exchanges through serious negotiations with mediators.
Meanwhile, families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza released a statement on Saturday night calling on israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire proposal and immediate negotiations in order to end the war on Gaza and secure the return of detainees.
