Construction Begins at New Nuclear Site of the Zionist Regime Near Dimona + Photos
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the associated Press, analyzed satellite images reveal intensified construction on a large new facility within a key site for the Zionist regime’s nuclear weapons program.
Experts believe this construction could be for a new reactor or a facility to assemble nuclear weapons. Though, the secrecy surrounding the program makes detailed details tough to obtain.
The Associated Press reports that activity at the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center near Dimona raises renewed questions about Israel’s status as the sole nuclear-armed entity in West Asia.
This move may also draw international criticism, especially as it follows U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear sites in June that violated binding international agreements such as the NPT.
The Associated Press added that seven specialists who reviewed these satellite images unanimously agreed that given this structure’s proximity to the Dimona reactor-where no civilian power plant exists-it is linked to Tel Aviv’s long-suspected nuclear weapons program.
