Germany Repeats Hostile Stance Against Russia
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Germany’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement repeating its hostile stance toward Moscow amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
The statement asserted that President Putin does not want to negotiate but aims to achieve his goals through initiating conflict.
It further declared: “We will continue our full political, economic, and military support for Ukraine and consider its security an integral part of Europe’s security.”
The Russian military launched its “special military operation” in eastern Ukraine on february 24, 2022. Russian officials said this operation was a response to requests from leaders in Donetsk and Luhansk for protection against Ukrainian forces.
President Vladimir Putin stated that the goal of the operation was “to protect people who have faced genocide and oppression by Kyiv’s regime for over eight years.”
