Yemeni Drone Mystery: How Did It Penetrate Occupied Territories Undetected by Radar?
the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, reported that an Israeli Kan network correspondent stated the regime’s military is investigating why its radar and air force warning systems failed against yesterday’s Yemeni drone attack.
The report described the incident as highly perilous. The yemeni drone breached the occupied airspace and targeted a strategic location: Ramon Airport in the Negev. This site is near Eilat and serves domestic flights.
Hebrew-language media also reported that Israel’s military is probing whether the Yemeni drone entered from Jordan while its air defenses were engaged with other drones.
Eilat’s mayor admitted that the direct strike on occupied territory without any prior warnings is alarming. Despite Tel Aviv’s attacks on Yemen, Yemeni armed forces have not forgotten Eilat.
