New Middle East Plan Fails; People’s Resistance Holds the Key to Victory

The head of the⁢ palestine ‌Foundation ‍in Pakistan stated ⁤that the plan ⁣to⁢ create a “New Middle East” has failed,‍ adding ‌that the resistance of regional nations has thwarted the conspiracies of⁢ the United States adn the Israeli regime in West Asia.

webangah News Agency, International Desk: On⁤ the sidelines of this yearS Arbaeen pilgrimage, an exclusive interview was conducted wiht Saber Abu Maryam, head of‌ the Palestine Foundation in Pakistan. He discussed Palestine’s place in Arbaeen, the state of ‌the Muslim Ummah, ⁣and the role of the Resistance Front. The⁤ full text follows.

How prominently was Palestine featured during this ‍year’s Arbaeen⁤ pilgrimage?

This⁤ year, throughout Arbaeen – from Najaf to Karbala – palestine played a significant role. At numerous rest stations⁢ (mukabs), especially “Mukab Nida al-Aqsa” at column 833, Palestinian scholars were present. ⁤While serving pilgrims, they spoke about Palestinian ⁣suffering⁤ and advocated for ⁣liberating Jerusalem.⁢ many mukabs also ⁣hosted photo exhibitions featuring martyrs’ images and Resistance visuals ⁢alongside cultural programs‌ focused on Palestine.

This widespread presence underscores how Arbaeen is a unique occasion to revisit Ashura’s message-a call to rise⁤ against⁢ oppression and support for oppressed peoples. Today, Palestinians remain among the most oppressed worldwide; highlighting their cause within such massive‌ gatherings is valuable and encouraging. Notably this year saw a symbolic march from Karbala toward Jerusalem. We hope‍ for ⁢a day when after⁢ commemorating Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), millions will‍ travel from‌ Karbala‍ directly toward Al-Quds to achieve ⁢its liberation.

What parallels do you see between Imam Hussein’s siege at Karbala and today’s situation‌ for Palestinians?

The world’s ⁤colonial powers-especially America, Israel, and Britain-play roles reminiscent of Yazid’s forces at Ashura. Historically during Karbala, ⁣Yazid’s camp had ample water and⁣ food but denied‌ it to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his loyal ‌followers.

Presently, imperialist states alongside their‌ Arab and non-Arab ⁣collaborators ‌pursue similarly cruel policies as Yazid’s army did in 680 CE (61⁤ AH). In Gaza today, peopel die from hunger while neighboring countries like⁤ Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia-and Turkey-all possess‍ sufficient food supplies yet deny them access to Palestinians.

Recently Netanyahu made ⁤statements‍ about an “Greater Israel” plan which Pakistan strongly ‌condemned; what are your thoughts on this?

It is indeed clear that‍ for many years the US government has sought to fragment countries across West Asia and South Asia. This effort began around 25 years ago but its aims are now openly⁣ visible: dividing Arab and ⁤non-Arab states into smaller units; provoking border disputes over resources like water; exacerbating‌ sectarianism; fueling ethnic tensions.

The⁢ ongoing conflict seen⁣ in Syria today stems directly⁣ from this ⁣so-called New Middle East plan – ⁤devised by Washington with hopes that breaking up these nations woudl enable ⁣Israeli dominance‍ over fragmented territories. Though despite years passing by as its inception-in ‍practice-the plan has failed repeatedly without success.

The primary‌ reason behind these‌ failures lies with regional peoples’ resistance movements active across palestine,Lebanon,Iraq,Yemen, and even Syria. The Islamic Republic‍ of Iran plays a vital role uniting⁢ these⁣ fronts. The steadfastness shown by resistant populations throughout West Asia remains an insurmountable barrier preventing‍ such malicious schemes. This is why neither America nor Israel ⁣have realized⁢ their⁣ sinister designs. And⁣ certainly,we believe⁤ any future plots along similar lines⁢ will ⁢meet defeat as well.
