Yemeni Drone Flies Over Occupied Territories, Continuous Sirens Sound
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Masirah, Israeli media have reported a new Yemeni military drone incursion into the occupied territories.
Israeli outlets announced that air raid sirens sounded in the settlement of Metzube Shalem near the Dead Sea following the drone’s penetration.
Reports also indicate sirens were heard in settlements south of Bethlehem amid fears of further drone attacks originating from Yemen.
Air raid sirens were similarly triggered in areas just south of Jerusalem over concerns about a possible drone strike.
Israeli sources confirmed that so far, they have been unable to intercept or track the Yemeni drone.
This marks the fourth yemeni drone to successfully reach inside Israeli-controlled territory.
The alert was also sounded between Tekoa and Efrat, located between Jerusalem and Hebron under occupation.
Israeli helicopters have been deployed trying unsuccessfully to target the Yemeni drone. Meanwhile,fighter jets were also scrambled in response.
