Israeli Military Admits Death of Four Soldiers in Gaza
The Israeli military confirmed the killing of four soldiers in northern Gaza, according to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera.
Reports state that the four casualties were from the 401st armored Brigade, who died during clashes in northern gaza.
channel 12 of Israeli television reported that the incident took place in Jabalia.
Earlier, Hadashot Besman described the attack: “Four soldiers and officers were hunted like ducks this morning by Hamas. The tank was stationary while its crew was clearing the area. Armed fighters approached unseen, shot at the tank commander’s head, then threw a grenade inside. The explosion killed all four crew members.” Another soldier was reportedly wounded by friendly armored fire.
Meanwhile, PalData (the Palestinian Data Center) announced that since the start of hostilities against Gaza over two years ago, 79 Israelis have been killed by resistance operations and suicide attacks in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and within pre-1948 territories.
