Vance: Trump Has No “Off Button”!
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency via russia Today, JD Vance, Vice President under U.S. President Donald Trump, asserted that Trump works almost nonstop. He remains highly active, continually contacting his advisors and cabinet members around the clock.
In an interview with Laura Trump, Fox News host and daughter-in-law of the President, Vance explained that Trump can summon his team at 12:30 AM or 2:00 AM and then hold another meeting again at 6:00 AM.
Regarding this schedule, Vance said: “The situation is such that ‘Mr. President, did you sleep last night? What’s going on here?'”
He added: “What I have learned from working with him daily is that he has no ‘off switch.'”
The media has long described Trump as a light sleeper who averages fewer than five hours of rest per night. Members of his administration have shared similar experiences. In July, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik stated that Trump frequently enough calls him after midnight. Last month, Trump’s Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. told reporters that the president contacts him three or four times a week to discuss health policy issues.
Vance’s remarks come amid increasing speculation about Trump’s physical condition in recent weeks. Observers have pointed to his minimal rest periods and images showing bruised hands. The White House attributed these signs to constant aspirin use and a condition called chronic venous insufficiency while denying rumors of more serious health problems.
Last month, following an unusual several-day absence from public events and routine press conferences by Trump, rumors circulated rapidly on social media claiming his possible death under hashtags such as “#TrumpIsDead.” Still, Trump reappeared shortly after these rumors in public before television cameras to dispel those claims.
During this period,in response to questions about his readiness to assume the presidency if needed,Vance stated he was confident “the President of the United States is in good condition and intends to complete the remainder of his term while accomplishing great things for the american people.” He added: ”If ‘the devil is deaf’-meaning if something bad were truly happening-I cannot imagine better on-the-job training than what I’ve had over these past 200 days.”
