Israelis Greet Netanyahu with Chants of “Traitor and Criminal

As Netanyahu entered the courtroom to present his defense regarding corruption charges,‍ he faced shouts labeling him a “traitor” and “criminal.”

Yesterday, the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu informed his judges that he would not ​attend court due to recent security developments.

The ⁣prime minister cited ⁣a recent martyrdom operation in Jerusalem‍ that resulted in‍ the deaths of five Israelis and injuries to 15 others as his reason for skipping court.

To justify his absence, Netanyahu​ visited the site of the attack in​ Jerusalem before making​ his decision ⁤not to attend.
