Six Dead from Starvation; 1.3 Million Displaced in Gaza Attack
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian Shehab News agency via mehr News Agency, reports that GazaS Ministry of Health confirmed that at least six people have died from hunger in the past 24 hours. This raises the total number of victims of forced starvation by the Israeli regime against gaza residents to 399, including more than 140 children.
The statement stressed the urgent need to open humanitarian corridors for safe passage to deliver food and medicine to starving civilians. Most hospitals have ceased operations, and those remaining are struggling under severe shortages.
The Ministry highlighted that “Gaza City serves as the primary warehouse for medicines and vaccines; attacks on it pose a significant risk.” It also warned that patients and wounded individuals may lose their lives during attempts to evacuate southward in Gaza.
The Ministry declared: “Our decision is not to leave Gaza City at any cost.”
Similarly, Gaza’s Civil Defense forces told Al Arabiya TV that Israeli occupiers intend forcibly to displace 1.3 million residents from Gaza City.
Expressing concern over daily bombings targeting dozens of homes and refugee tents in Gaza City by Israeli forces, these defense units stated they expect approximately 300 deaths per day if Israel executes its threats to seize control of the city.
The statement concluded that residents refuse evacuation despite occupation plans; thus, occupiers may resort to mass killings.
