Tel Aviv: We Are Not Afraid of Military Conflict with Turkey
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, following Israeli nighttime strikes on Homs, Syria, an Israeli security source told Al Arabiya that the attack targeted missile depots and Turkish-made air defense equipment recently transferred to the city.
The Israeli source said Turkey is trying to provoke and draw them into a military confrontation. “We are not afraid of it but do not desire it,” the source added. “We engage in security arrangements with Syrian authorities but do not hesitate to use force when necesary. The internal situation in Syria is fragile and unstable.”
The source also claimed that Tel Aviv targets any threats to its security irrespective of their origin or location.
Notably, last night Israel struck areas around Latakia and Homs, including key ammunition depots belonging to Syrian armed forces and an air defense college near Homs.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for al-Jolani strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on targets in homs and Latakia provinces, labeling them a clear violation of international law and United Nations charter principles.
