35 Palestinians Killed in Gaza Over Past Hours
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, medical sources reported that 35 Palestinians have been killed so far in today’s attacks by the occupying Israeli army on the Gaza Strip. Additionally,20 people have gone missing during these assaults over recent hours.
The Palestinian government’s media office in Gaza stated that more than 1.2 million people remain in gaza City and its northern areas. Despite intensified attacks and crimes by the Israeli army, they refuse to relocate southward.
The statement added: Israel’s attempt to implement a “forced evacuation” plan against Palestinian civilians is a clear violation of international law. The population of Gaza and its northern region is estimated at over 1.3 million, including roughly 398,000 residents from northern Gaza who have largely moved westward, and over 914,000 from Gaza City itself-with approximately 300,000 relocating from eastern neighborhoods toward central and western parts of the city.
The Palestinian government media office noted that recently there has been a phenomenon called “returning to original areas.” While nearly 35,000 were relocated south due to ongoing attacks, more than 12,000 had returned home as of Sunday afternoon because living conditions in southern regions are nearly impossible.
The statement highlighted that Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis and Rafah-home to about 800,000 people-is falsely promoted by occupiers as a “humanitarian safe zone.” These areas have endured 109 airstrikes and bombings resulting in over 2,000 fatalities. They lack essential services such as hospitals, infrastructure, water supply, food access, shelter provision、电力، وeducational facilities making life there virtually untenable.
The office further explained that zones designated by Israel for relocation amount to only 12 percent of all Gaza territory while occupiers aim to forcibly confine more than 1.7 million people within these cramped boundaries. This organized forced displacement constitutes both war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The Palestinian government’s media office condemned these mass atrocities alongside international silence and negligence on this matter. They hold full responsibility for these crimes with Israel along with the United States and other countries complicit in this process.
They called on the global community-including the United Nationsand international judicial bodies-to take immediate action to halt these atrocities while safeguarding Palestinians’ right to stay safely with dignity on thier land.
