Iraqi Shiite Political Groups Coordination Framework Reacts to Tel Aviv’s Strike on Qatar
The Coordination Framework of Iraq’s Shia Political Groups today condemned the zionist regime’s attack on Doha, the capital of Qatar, in its strongest terms, describing it as a clear breach of Qatar’s sovereignty. The statement was reported by webangah News Agency based on Iraqi WAA news agency via Mehr News Agency.
“We strongly denounce the cowardly assault by the zionist enemy against Doha,” the statement said.”This act has perilous precedent and represents an outright violation of Qatar’s sovereignty. It is a shameless infringement on international laws and norms that flagrantly challenges all human values.”
The statement further noted: “This criminal action onc again confirms the terrorist and aggressive nature of the Zionist regime. It reveals expansionist tendencies not confined to Palestine’s borders but aimed at undermining security and stability across the entire region.”
The Coordination Framework added that this attack directly harms Qatar’s mediatory and peace-promoting efforts while exposing Israel’s hidden intentions to thwart any attempts to halt aggression against defenseless Palestinians.
Expressing full solidarity with the Qatari government and people, the group held Israel fully responsible for all consequences arising from this dangerous aggression. They called upon the international community-especially the United Nations and Security Council-to fulfill their legal and moral duties to prevent Israeli lawlessness and stop further crimes.
Iraq’s Shia Coordination Framework reaffirmed its unwavering stance supporting Palestinian legitimate rights-including resistance against occupation, freedom, and establishing an autonomous state with Jerusalem as its capital.
