Trump Reacts to Russian Drones Entering Polish Airspace
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and ABC News, former U.S. President Donald Trump called Russia’s drone incursion into Polish airspace “unjustifiable” in his initial response.
The incident had already been condemned by Polish military officials and European leaders.
On the social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote: “What is going on with Russia violating Polish airspace with drones? Here we go again!”
Meanwhile, Reuters reported from the White House that trump plans to speak soon with Poland’s President Andrzej Duda.
A White House official, speaking anonymously, said: “President Trump and the White House are monitoring reports coming from Poland closely and arrangements are underway for a conversation between President Trump and President Duda today.”
The official also told ABC News that Trump is expected to hold talks on Wednesday with Andrzej Duda. They added that both Trump and the White House are following developments in Poland carefully.
