U.S. Allocates Funds to Destroy Resistance Weapons in Lebanon
The U.S. Department of Defense announced its approval of arms sales to Finland and military aid to Lebanon.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, the Pentagon confirmed approval of $14.2 million in assistance to the Lebanese Armed Forces.
The statement claimed that this aid aims to strengthen lebanon’s military capabilities to dismantle armed groups’ infrastructure, including Hezbollah.
The Pentagon also announced that the U.S. Department of State approved the sale of mid-range air-to-air missiles to Finland valued at $1.07 billion.
