Ukraine Claims: Russian Black Sea Fleet Ship Targeted + Video
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Kyiv Post, Ukraine asserted that on thursday it struck a $60 million Russian warship near Novorossiysk using a drone attack.
the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence (HUR) claimed the drone strike disabled the Russian warship’s navigation and communication systems and rendered its surveillance and electronic equipment inoperative.
Kyiv post reported that the targeted vessel belongs to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet stationed near Novorossiysk.
At the time of the attack, according to Kyiv post, the Russian ship was conducting reconnaissance and patrol operations in Novorossiysk Bay, where Moscow hosts much of its Black Sea naval forces.
Russia has not released any statement regarding this incident yet.
