China Urges Diplomatic Approach to Warsaw-Moscow Tensions
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al jazeera via Mehr News Agency, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Thursday regarding the tensions between Poland and Russia, urging both sides to reduce hostilities and focus on diplomatic resolutions.
The ministry also urged the Philippines to cease provocative actions in the South China Sea and avoid complicating the situation further.
Notably, in the early hours of September 9, Poland shot down several drones that entered its airspace during a large-scale Russian offensive in western Ukraine.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk claimed that numerous Russian drones violated Polish airspace and those posing an immediate threat were intercepted.
