Russia and Belarus Launch Strategic Military Exercise
The strategic exercise Zapad 2025 between Russia and Belarus began today, aiming to ensure military security and support their shared bilateral interests.
The joint strategic exercise between Russia and Belarus, marking the final phase of this year’s training program for both countries, started today, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Sputnik.
The core objectives of this exercise include enhancing army command and staff skills, strengthening cohesion among joint forces, practicing defensive and offensive missions, as well as ensuring military security and protecting the mutual interests of both nations.
The training framework covers exercises at training grounds in Russia and Belarus, along with operational areas in the Baltic Sea and the Barents Sea.
