Trump Meets Qatar’s Prime Minister Following Israeli Regime Attack
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, NewsNation reported that the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani was held successfully.
The source stated that Trump and the visiting qatari prime minister consulted on next steps and reached positive conclusions.
Steve Witkoff, Trump’s envoy to the region, was also present during the meeting.
Earlier, this Qatari official met with the U.S. Vice President and Secretary of State.
The Vice President emphasized America’s solidarity with Qatar during their discussion, adding that diplomacy remains capable of resolving outstanding issues.
Qatar’s prime minister reaffirmed his country’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty in response to Israel’s attack.
Notably, Israel targeted a location in Doha where Hamas leaders where gathered for talks on a proposal put forward by President Donald Trump aimed at advancing negotiations; this strike occurred on Tuesday amid those discussions.
