UN: Israel Has Issued Death Sentences for Gaza Residents
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Details Center, reports that Olga Cherifko, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), issued a stark warning: Israel has condemned Gaza’s residents to “death,” leaving palestinians with a grim choice between evacuating their homes or dying.
Cherifko stated, “The people of Gaza are sentenced to death; thay must either leave or die. hundreds of thousands of exhausted, worn-out, and terrified civilians are ordered to flee into an overcrowded area where even small animals struggle to find space to move.”
These remarks were made in response to recent Israeli warnings ordering Gaza’s residents to evacuate ahead of occupying the city.
The UN official emphasized the urgent need to halt horrific violence in Gaza. She said, “We need immediate decisions that pave the way for lasting peace before it’s too late; voices calling for silencing bombs and actions aimed at stopping bloodshed.”
Cherifko also stressed ensuring an uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza through all crossings and border points-including from the north-and declared: “The people in Gaza do not want charity; they demand their right to live with security, dignity, and peace.”
