100 Cities Worldwide Launch Hunger Strikes in Support of Gaza

The English section of webangah News⁢ agency,citing Mehr News Agency ⁤and ma’an,reported that the popular Movement to Support Gaza plans ⁢to hold a ⁤global ‍hunger strike across 100 Arab⁢ and ⁤non-Arab cities on September⁤ 16 and 23.

This international initiative aims to show solidarity with the oppressed people of‍ Gaza and condemn the⁤ crimes committed‌ by the Zionist​ regime against this enclave, especially its policy of starving residents.

Mustafa al-Barghouthi,Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative,emphasized during a press conference in Al-Bireh near ramallah that it is indeed essential to​ harness the potential ⁣of different nations in support of⁤ Gaza.He added that an Arab and Islamic summit is scheduled, urging these countries to at‌ least impose sanctions on Israel and cancel normalization agreements with‌ Tel Aviv.

al-Barghouthi also referenced dozens of​ ships heading towards the Gaza Strip with plans to break its⁣ blockade.
