Erdogan Travels to Qatar
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkish President recep Tayyip Erdoğan will travel to Qatar tomorrow. He will participate in an emergency summit of Islamic countries’ leaders and show support for the Qatari government following the recent attack by Israeli forces.
The emergency meeting of Islamic-Arab foreign ministers was convened at Qatar’s request to discuss the Israeli assault on Doha.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will attend a joint extraordinary session of foreign ministers from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League.
Fidan is expected to highlight Turkey’s solidarity with Qatar against the Israeli attacks in his speech at this meeting.
