Doha Summit Draft Final Statement Omits Firm Action Against Israel
The English section of webangah News agency quoted Mehr News Agency, reporting that Reuters published the draft final statement of the Arab-Islamic leaders’ summit set to take place tomorrow, Monday, in Doha.
According to the report, the draft final declaration of the Doha summit reads as follows:
We express our full support for Qatar’s security, sovereignty, adn the safety of it’s citizens.
– We recall our collective duty to respond to Israeli aggression in defense of our shared security.
– Israel’s aggression against Qatar is an attack on all Arab and Islamic countries.
– This aggression undermines diplomatic efforts aimed at establishing peace.
– We firmly reject any attempts to justify Israel’s attack on Qatar under any pretext.
– We strongly condemn repeated Israeli threats targeting Qatar once again.
– we emphasize the necessity for international community action to end Israeli attacks in the region.
- We support efforts by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States to halt hostilities against Gaza Strip.
– We stress standing firm against Israeli plans aimed at imposing new faits accomplis in the region.
– We condemn all Israeli attempts to displace Palestinian people under any pretext or title.
Last Tuesday, Israel bombed a location in Doha where Hamas leaders were meeting to discuss U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal aimed at advancing negotiations. Although no Hamas leaders were injured during this strike,several Hamas members and civilians-including a Qatari citizen-were killed.
