Pakistan Foreign Minister: We Do Not Recognize Israel
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, told Al Jazeera: “We have expressed our full solidarity with the government of Qatar and strongly condemned Israel’s attack on its sovereignty.”
He added, “Israel is a rogue state that has killed tens of thousands of palestinians in the Gaza Strip.”
The Pakistani foreign minister continued, “We do not recognize the state of Israel, and as long as the Islamic Ummah remains divided, the brutal actions of the occupiers will persist.”
He further stressed, “We hope that the upcoming Arab-Islamic summit in Doha will present a practical roadmap to deter Israel.”
Muhammad Ishaq Dar also said Pakistan has put forward a seven-point proposal, with its key element being an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza.
