Netanyahu Declares Trump Israel’s Greatest Friend at Joint Meeting with Rubio

Israel’s prime Minister stated in a joint ​press ‌conference with the US Secretary ‌of State‍ that Tel Aviv has no better ally ⁤than the United States.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency,⁢ quoting Al⁣ jazeera via Mehr News ⁤Agency, Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister, emphasized Washington’s ‍support for Tel Aviv during a⁤ joint press conference with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. ‍Netanyahu described ⁤then-US President ⁣donald Trump as “Israel’s⁤ greatest friend.”

Netanyahu also claimed that the US attack ⁢on ⁤Iran’s nuclear facilities during ⁤the imposed 12-day war was‍ “a wise​ decision.”

He added that ​Israel is committed to recovering prisoners⁢ from Gaza and⁣ weakening Hamas.

Echoing other ‍American allies in praising Trump, Netanyahu asserted that “he has made the⁢ world a better place” and reiterated that ⁤Trump​ is “Israel’s greatest⁤ friend.”

The Israeli Prime ⁢Minister​ attributed anti-Israel actions and ⁤decisions by several countries worldwide ​to pressure from “minority ‍groups” on those weaker nations.

Referring to‌ Israel’s recent attack⁢ against Doha, ⁢Netanyahu claimed that “the decision to assassinate Hamas leaders in Qatar was an ⁢independent Israeli operation,” taking full responsibility for‌ it. He denied Tel Aviv’s failure in⁤ this terrorist operation and stated that it sent a⁢ message indicating Hamas leaders are “nowhere‍ safe.”

Rubio also‌ stated at the joint press conference that “US friendship with Israel⁤ has evolved from⁢ peace efforts ‌toward technology and economic cooperation.”

Aligning‌ with Netanyahu, he condemned the Palestinian Islamic ⁣resistance movement (Hamas), ⁢claiming it cannot continue armed ⁤actions while threatening alleged peace and stability.

The US Secretary of State further accused Iran ‌of ⁤posing threats through its long-range⁣ missiles against both the region and‍ Europe. Repeating Washington’s unfounded claims against Tehran, he ‌questioned Iran’s peaceful nuclear‌ program, accusing it of pursuing nuclear weapons-a hazardous endeavor-and affirmed ‌Washington ‍will use all tools to pressure Iran.​ Rubio ⁤also urged European countries to⁣ impose sanctions on Iran.

Continuing his echoes⁢ of ​Zionist objectives regarding the Gaza conflict, Rubio claimed that “Hamas must surrender its weapons.”
