El-Sisi Consults with Qatar’s Emir
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing the Egyptian presidency’s official website, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met and held talks with Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha.
El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s condemnation of the blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty. He emphasized Cairo’s full solidarity with Doha and its readiness to provide all forms of support and assistance to preserve Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, Emir Tamim praised President el-Sisi’s participation in the meeting and expressed thankfulness for Egypt’s stance opposing the brutal aggression by the Israeli regime, as well as its steadfast position on Arab issues.
The two leaders discussed regional developments and explored ways to restore stability across the region.
They also highlighted the importance of forging a common vision for collective Arab cooperation and forming a unified front aimed at safeguarding national security in Arab countries.
The president of Egypt and emir of Qatar agreed on continuing efforts toward an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. They stressed ensuring unhindered access for humanitarian aid delivery and firmly opposed any forced displacement of Palestinians from their land.
