Bahrain’s Ambassador Leaves Tel Aviv; No Successor Named Yet

An Israeli media‌ outlet reported that Bahrain’s ambassador in Tel Aviv left the occupied territories in April.

According ‌to ⁢the English section of webangah News agency, citing⁤ Mehr News‌ Agency and Russia⁣ Al-Youm, ​the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that Khaled Al-Jalahma, Bahrain’s ambassador ‌to Tel Aviv, left Israel last April.

Reports indicate that he departed after being⁣ appointed as Deputy Minister of Political ‌Affairs at Bahrain’s ​Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The report adds that⁤ no ‌official successor has been named since Al-Jalahma’s departure.Meanwhile,Bahrain’s embassy in Israel continues its operations through ⁣lower-ranking diplomats.

The⁣ devastating war ⁢in Gaza, Israel’s plans to ‍annex parts ‌of​ the West Bank and other occupied areas, along with tel Aviv’s recent⁣ aggressive strike on Doha, have seriously challenged​ the future of Arab peace agreements with Israel.
