Al-Binaa: Tel Aviv Seeks Civil War in Lebanon

A Lebanese newspaper, highlighting the ‍intensifying dispute over disarming the resistance, reported⁤ that the ⁢Zionist regime seeks to ignite a civil war in Lebanon.

According to ⁤the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Binaa referenced statements‌ by Sheikh⁢ Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa,⁢ emir of Qatar, who ⁤said that the Zionist regime aims ⁤to⁤ drag ‌Lebanon into a civil conflict. The paper quoted informed sources describing this as evidence of‌ a long-standing conspiracy by‍ Israel against Lebanon’s security, stability, and economy.

The newspaper added that at this critical time, all Lebanese factions-including the government, senior officials representing the three main branches of ⁢power, the ⁤army, people, and resistance forces-must unite against Zionist-American projects targeting Lebanon’s security, stability, wealth, and existence.

The report emphasized that the government must approach the issue of resistance‍ weapons with wisdom ‌and patriotism. It stressed considering matters such as protecting Lebanon from Israeli aggression; liberating occupied territories; securing prisoner releases;‌ confronting ‍Israeli plans for occupation in southern Lebanon; and addressing ongoing targeted assassinations.

Moreover,⁤ it warned that Lebanon should remain vigilant against traps‍ set by enemies exploiting divisions among Lebanese people through pressures from america and saudi Arabia. ‍These⁤ efforts aim to ⁤plunge the country into an internal strife sought by Israel.

Lebanese⁣ sources urged their government and foreign minister to leverage Israel’s aggression against Qatar and resolutions from recent Arab-Islamic summit meetings.‌ they called for ⁢intensified diplomatic efforts to⁢ pressure‍ Israel⁢ into full withdrawal from southern Lebanon, halting hostilities and returning prisoners.
