Details and Focus of Zionist Ground Assault on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the start of a ground assault on Gaza city. The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that this operation would be phased and gradual, beginning in the outskirts where the Israeli army recently intensified attacks and demolished towers.
Al Mayadin described the official announcement of the ground operation as media deception, emphasizing that this offensive began weeks ago by invading the Al-sabra and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods. Before retreating, occupation forces destroyed these areas. After pulling back, they advanced into Jabalia and Al-Nazlah before evacuating Al-Saftawi. Currently, Israeli operations continue in Sheikh Radwan and Abu Iskandar districts.
The report states that Israel’s military continues its gradual advance using fire pressure tactics. Neighborhoods like Al-Zarqa and Al-Nafaq have been heavily bombarded with intense shelling targeting high-rise residential buildings to cause widespread destruction.
Israeli Military Advance Fronts
Israeli forces are currently focused on three main axes inside Gaza City:
First: sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northwest Gaza: the Israeli army is present around Sheikh Radwan pond after advancing from Jabalia, Nazlah, and zarqa areas toward this front. They have adopted a “fire displacement” policy combined with limited movement using tanks and armored vehicles aimed at pressuring residents to flee.
The troops also deployed bomb-laden drones pushed forward from their positions before detonation to cause extensive demolitions and facilitate rapid evacuation efforts.
Second: Northwest coastal strip of Gaza: Following the closure of Zikim crossing, Israel has made limited incursions into coastal areas while conducting continuous heavy bombardment on neighborhoods including Al-Karama, Sudaneyya, Intelligence Street district. Displaced residents had started returning here but were forced out again thru violence from occupation forces.
The military now seeks to consolidate control over these zones through sustained heavy fire covering Karama, Sudaneyya, Amn al-Am (security area), Intelligence Street district (Mukhbarat), al-Maqousi area as well as portions of Beach Refugee Camp.
Third: South Tel al-Hawa area in southern Gaza City: For several days now tanks have advanced near Nilem fuel station at Deadhoh Street’s end close to Nitsarim axis.
The IDF here employs similar tactics used in Sheikh Radwan-deploying multiple armored vehicles laden with explosives simultaneously detonated to inflict broad destruction.
their covering fire extends toward Street 8; al-Khor square; Deadhoh Square; Sheikh Ajlin district; causing widespread displacement among civilians living nearby.
Details of Ground Operation
Al Mayadin explains Israel’s army pursues slow progressive advances across these three fronts backed by intense aerial bombardment coupled with heavy artillery strikes. Due largely to massive damage inflicted upon residential buildings civilians can distinctly hear armored vehicle movements during nighttime operations within city limits.
Civilians continue fleeing extensively through Rashid Street amid escalating Palestinian territorial incursions by ground forces; congestion along this route reflects high numbers seeking exit under tense conditions.
Still Israeli estimates indicate more than 850 thousand Palestinians remain trapped inside Gaza City-many unable to leave owing either lack of transportation means or injuries sustained during ongoing hostilities preventing relocation efforts effectively disrupted by mounting casualties involved in conflict dynamics.
