Heavy Bombing of Al Hudaydah; Yemeni Air Defenses Engage Israeli Fighter Jets
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency,Yemen’s Al Masirah network reported an attack by the Israeli regime on the port of Al Hudaydah.
Simultaneously occurring, Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced that thier air defenses are confronting Israeli enemy fighter jets attacking the country.
He stated: “Our air defense caused important confusion among enemy fighters and forced some aircraft to leave Yemeni airspace before carrying out their aggression. By God’s grace, deeper penetration into our airspace was foiled.”
The Israeli military radio announced the start of a large-scale aerial assault on Yemen’s al Hudaydah port.
The Israeli Channel 12 television claimed that the attack aims to disable Al Hudaydah for several more weeks.
Israeli media alleged that 12 strikes have been carried out so far targeting three docks at the port.
