Guterres: Returning Sanctions on Iran Can Be Prevented

According to teh English section of webangah News ‌Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS,⁢ United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced today, Tuesday, that‌ sanctions against Iran can still be ‍avoided.

The UN chief did not condemn the aggression by the United States and Israeli occupiers against Iran‌ amid indirect talks between Tehran and Washington. He said​ if both sides turn‍ to diplomacy, the reimposition of sanctions on Iran can be averted.

Guterres added⁢ that the United Nations remains in contact with ‍all parties involved in this ⁣matter.

According to TASS, he further urged Iran and other parties to engage‌ in diplomacy and build trust.
