Pakistan Defense Minister Calls for Formation of Islamic NATO
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Islamic Republic News Agency, Khawaja Muhammad Asif told Pakistan’s Geo Network that Israel’s aggression against Doha was carried out with prior approval from the United States.
He emphasized that Muslims must take the threat of internal discord seriously, recognize enemies disguised as friends, and form an Islamic NATO to overcome shared challenges.
The Pakistani defense minister added that public opinion in the West has changed significantly, noting a dangerously growing anti-Israel sentiment even within the United states.
He stated, ”We should not misunderstand that Hamas leaders’ presence in Qatar was ever without a green light from America. With this consent, Israel launched its attack on them, and we will soon witness its consequences.”
Khawaja Asif stressed, ”The late Al-Qaeda leader was a product of America; CIA agencies brought Osama bin Laden from sudan into play. The regime changes we now see in Syria reflect U.S. approval. We observe how Syria continues to suffer Israeli aggressions.”
The defense minister commented on the Arab-Islamic summit in Qatar by saying it is to early to discuss its outcomes. Though, he insisted Muslims should establish a military alliance similar to NATO for mutual defense. This alliance would not target any specific country but would focus solely on protecting each other.
