The New York Times: Hamas Forces Ambush Israeli Soldiers
Amid the launch of the Israeli regimeS ground invasion into Gaza City, Tel aviv officials have expressed concern over the preparedness of Palestinian resistance forces in the area.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, the New York Times reported that Israeli officials said Hamas forces are lying in wait for Israeli soldiers penetrating Gaza City to ambush them.
The report states that Hamas fighters are prepared for guerrilla warfare.
Yesterday,the Israeli army officially announced the start of it’s ground offensive aimed at fully occupying Gaza City.
This comes while tel Aviv military officials have repeatedly warned about the army’s inadequate capacity to sustain this conflict amid declining soldier morale and a shortage of manpower.
