US Takes Hostile Action Against Four Iraqi Resistance Groups
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reports that on Wednesday the U.S. State Department announced it officially designates four Iran-aligned paramilitary groups-Harakat al-Nujaba, kata’ib sayyid al-Shuhada, Ansar Allah al-Awfiyya Movement, and Kata’ib al-Imam Ali-as foreign terrorist organizations.
The statement posted on the State Department’s website made no reference to these resistance groups’ ongoing relentless fight against multinational terrorists linked to the Western-hebrew axis in Iraq. It alleged that all four had previously been designated as terrorist entities. The department claimed Iran continues to provide support enabling these militias to plan, facilitate, or carry out attacks across Iraq. It added that these iran-aligned paramilitary groups have targeted the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and bases hosting U.S. and coalition forces while often using aliases or proxy names to conceal their involvement.
