Saudi Arabia and Pakistan Sign Joint Strategic Defense Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Saudi Arabia’s official news agency (SPA), Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed a joint strategic defense agreement with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today.
SPA reported that this agreement was concluded within the framework of the “historic partnership” between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. It reflects their brotherly bonds, Islamic solidarity, shared strategic interests, and existing defense cooperation.
SPA stated that signing this agreement aims to enhance the security of both countries and promote stability and peace in the region and globally.
The state news agency further noted that the pact seeks to expand defense collaboration between Riyadh and islamabad while strengthening mutual deterrence against any potential aggression.
according to SPA, the agreement requires that any attack on either country will be considered an attack on both.
