Sanders: Israel Has Committed Genocide in Gaza

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Israeli media outlet The Times of Israel, independent and prominent U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders⁢ described the Zionist occupiers’ assault on the‌ oppressed people of Gaza ‍as a “genocide” against Palestinians.

The report states that Sanders issued a statement ⁣following casualty figures from the ⁢all-out⁣ Zionist⁣ war on gaza’s oppressed population, saying: “the intent is clear. The outcome is unavoidable: Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.”

The American senator ⁣added​ that by‌ labeling Israel’s actions ⁢as genocide, all means must be ⁤used to demand an immediate ceasefire,‌ vastly increase ‍humanitarian⁢ aid with​ United‌ Nations facilitation, and ⁤take initial steps toward establishing⁣ a ⁢Palestinian state.

This statement comes shortly after ‍the United Nations Human Rights Council’s investigative commission also described Israeli crimes in Gaza as “genocide.”
