Israeli Army Launches Major Offensive in Southern Lebanon
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen via mehr News Agency, the Israeli army threatened this Thursday afternoon to bomb buildings in several villages in southern Lebanon.
Al-mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the targeted areas by the Israeli occupation forces are residential, particularly in the Kafartabnit region.
At the same time, reconnaissance drones belonging to the israeli military extensively flew over these threatened areas.
Following these warnings, Al-Mayadeen stated that Israel carried out widespread airstrikes with two attacks on the border town of Meis al-Jabal.
Al Jazeera also reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Meis al-Jabal and targeted the towns of Debbin and Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israel’s military claimed it launched a series of strikes against Hezbollah military targets within Lebanon. it emphasized plans for future attacks on Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in Al-shihabiyeh and Burj qallawiyah.
The Israeli army radio asserted that it’s air force struck Hezbollah weapons depots in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army had asked residents of several villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate as a prelude to conducting air raids against Hezbollah targets.
This morning, an Israeli drone struck the Syndiana area near Shebaa. The drone fired two missiles as part of continued ceasefire violations and incursions into Lebanon; no casualties were reported. Al-Mayadeen added that an Israeli helicopter also dropped two sound bombs on Al-Mahafir area in Adaisseh city.
