US Pushes to Block Draft Resolution by Iran, Russia, and China
The English section of webangah News agency, citing mehr News Agency, reported that the Al Mayadeen correspondent in Vienna stated the United States is exerting maximum pressure to prevent approval of a draft resolution submitted by iran, Russia, and China at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
According to Al Mayadeen’s reporter, leaked facts suggests the draft resolution might potentially be withdrawn due to widespread criticism of both the IAEA and its member states.
The correspondent also emphasized that this resolution requires approval from the UN Security Council and would mark a historic move if adopted as it condemns both the United States and Israel.
He added that countries proposing this draft resolution on banning attacks against nuclear facilities have decided to postpone it until next year.
