According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency from anadolu, Turkish foreign Minister Hakan Fidan highlighted Israel’s expansionist policies in the region, especially in Palestine and Syria. He urged regional states and the international community to respond with appropriate actions.
In an interview with MBC Masr TV, fidan said the recent summit of Arab and Islamic leaders held in Doha focused on Israeli expansionism. The summit called on regional countries and the global community to take a stance against these policies.
He added that Turkey will continue opposing what he described as “genocide” in Gaza, efforts to annex the West Bank by Israel, and support for establishing a Palestinian state.
Regarding Syria, Fidan identified a potential Israeli military operation as “the greatest current threat” to Syrian stability. He warned that Israel has already indicated intentions for such action. According to him, Israeli expansionism could open a new door for unrest within Syria.
Fidan also noted that regional countries alongside the European Union, United States, Asian nations, Russia, and China have formed a coalition aimed at giving Syria’s new government time to achieve stability. However,Tel Aviv views this international consensus as a threat.
