Samood Fleet Departs Southern Italy Heading to Gaza Strip
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab, media sources announced that ships affiliated with the Samud Fleet began their journey from off the coast of Sicily Island after passing through a storm.
Yesterday, organizers of the Samud Fleet stated that the thirteenth vessel out of 23 ships in this global convoy aimed at breaking the 18-year siege imposed by Israeli occupiers on Gaza departed from Tunisia toward the Gaza Strip.
It is indeed notable that nearly 50 ships associated with the Samud Fleet have started sailing toward Gaza as Sunday.
The fleet’s vessels have departed from ports in Tunisia, Italy, Greece, and libya. Several ships also set off this month from Barcelona port in Spain. Thes vessels carry medical and food aid and also prominent activists from more than 40 countries worldwide.
