Israeli Embassy in the Netherlands Targeted in Attack
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News agency and Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, Israel’s Channel 12 announced that a person in The Hague, Netherlands, attempting to enter the Israeli embassy and start a fire was arrested by security forces.
Further details about the identity of the detainee and their potential motives have not yet been disclosed.
This claim comes one month after official Israeli media reported on August 12 that three individuals were arrested for throwing ”blood” paint on the door of Israel’s embassy in the Netherlands and breaking its gate.
The Israeli ambassador to the Netherlands wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that this incident took place in the early morning hours of that day.
He noted that dutch police had arrested suspects and assured that all necessary measures would be taken to prevent similar attacks in the future.
The event followed shortly after Israeli airline El Al announced it would close its office in Paris, France.
This decision came after slogans labeling it a “genocide company” were painted on its office walls, accompanied by red paint splattered over its entrance.
