Katz’s Threats Against Yemen’s Ansar Allah Leader Mocked
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Dr. Hizam al-Asad,a senior leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement,mocked Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz’s threats to assassinate abdul-Malik al-Houthi,leader of Ansar Allah,and to seize Sana’a.
Al-Asad told Al Jazeera that Israel is currently in a state of weakness and defeat.
He added that Yemen continues it’s attacks deep inside occupied Palestinian territory, disrupts enemy Israeli naval navigation in the red Sea, and remains steadfast in supporting resistance forces in Gaza.
The Ansar Allah official responded to Israel’s threats against Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and claims about raising the Israeli flag over Sana’a by stating that Israeli hands will not reach Yemen.Rather,he said,cities such as Jaffa,Haifa,Acre (Akka),Eilat,Beersheba-and othre occupied Palestinian lands-are much closer to Yemeni armed forces. He vowed that there “the flags of Palestine and those of the arab and Islamic nations will be raised.”
on Friday, israel’s Defense Minister made an audacious threat against the movement’s leader by threatening his assassination. He also claimed: ”We will replace their slogan ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Curse on Jews’ written on Houthi flags with the flag of Israel.”
Al-Asad said Ansar Allah’s response would be practical through ongoing operations supporting Gaza and retaliating against Israeli aggression toward Yemen.
He stressed: “What lies ahead for the occupiers will be worse and darker. Our surprises are meaningful-powerful-and devastating.”
Mohammed al-Maqaleh,former member of Ansar allah’s Revolutionary Committee echoed similar views. He called Katz’s threats an obvious provocation aimed at Yemeni people who will respond militarily-even if those threats prove unrealistic or impossible-stressing they are meant only as intimidation tactics.
“threatening to kill our movement’s leader never frightens us,” he said. “Ultimately life or death is persistent by God-not by Israelis. But such threats push us toward greater caution and vigilance.”
The former official emphasized that when Abdul-Malik al-Houthi began confronting Israel he was fully aware of its high cost; mentally prepared himself along with material readiness; then consciously decided with courage, resolve and great responsibility “to stand firm against this enemy nonetheless of any sacrifice.”
Brigadier General Abed Mohammed Al-Thawr – Deputy Head for Moral guidance at Yemen’s Ministry of Defense – affirmed these Israeli regime threats have no effect on them.
“The extensive security measures in Sana’a prevent any access by Israel toward our military commanders; reaching abdul-Malik al-Houthi is out of question,” he stated.
“Our security services operate at full capacity while spy rings providing intelligence leaks have been arrested,” Al-Thawr added.”Today israelis alongside Americans have lost their eyes inside Yemen; there is no longer anyone supplying them with intelligence data.”
The Yemeni military official remarked these unfriendly warnings come after Yemeni armed forces carried out heavy missile strikes as well as drone attacks against israel-including a recent drone strike targeting a hotel inside Eilat city. The geographical distance between occupied Palestine territoriesand Yemen exceeds 2,000 kilometers making it extremely tough for Israelis accordingly.”
