Netanyahu and Gideon Sa’ar React to Three Countries’ Decision to Recognize Palestine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Israeli prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted to the recognition of the State of Palestine by the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. He asserted, “The State of Palestine has never existed, and Israel’s response to this move will be made clear after I return from the United States.”
Netanyahu also claimed,”To the leaders who recognized Palestine following the events of October 7th,I say they have greatly rewarded terrorism.”
Simultaneously occurring, Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar asserted that “most countries in the world had already recognized Palestine before this,” calling such recognition especially misguided after October 7th.
He added, “The future of Israel is not decided in Paris or London but in Jerusalem. We will respond firmly to anyone threatening Israel’s security and future. We have a very strong ally named America standing with us in this struggle.”
