France Officially Recognizes Independent State of Palestine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing France 24 via Mehr News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron officially declared at the two-State Solution conference that France recognizes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
He stated, ”Today, we have gathered because it is time for the release of 48 prisoners held by Hamas and for the war in Gaza to stop.”
Macron added, “We can no longer wait any longer to recognize the State of Palestine.”
He also said, “The promise to establish an arab state in Palestine has yet to be fulfilled.”
Macron acknowledged, “We collectively accept responsibility for our failure to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.”

The French president addressed a United Nations meeting examining the two-state solution: “There is a way to end this war-it lies in mutual recognition; we must consider ending the isolation faced by both Palestinians and Israelis.”
“Here,within these halls,” he said,”we must pave the way for peace. We are concerned that israel may have violated the abraham Accords.”
“We must exert all our efforts to protect the two-state solution. I hereby declare that France recognizes the State of Palestine.”
