Copenhagen Airport Flights Resume After Drone Incident

Copenhagen ‍International Airport has resumed operations after⁢ drone sightings over the airspace caused flight delays adn cancellations.

Copenhagen Airport flights, delayed and canceled following reports of drones flying overhead, have now resumed operations, according ​to webangah News Agency.

The largest airport in Denmark canceled​ flights yesterday evening due to confirmed drone sightings. Danish police reported seeing two or three large drones ⁣in the sky above​ the airport.

The airport halted all flight activities at 8:26 p.m. local time.⁢ Flight tracking data from Flightradar showed about 35 flights were⁤ diverted to alternative airports.

A Copenhagen Airport spokesperson said police are investigating the drones‍ but declined ‍to provide further details. the airport did‍ not confirm a timeline for resuming flights​ by midnight local time and warned that delays and cancellations​ could ​continue.

Flights eventually restarted ‍early today; however, Norway’s NRK reported a separate ‍drone incident at Oslo Airport ⁢forced all flights onto a single runway.

Danish police added⁣ that⁢ the drones appeared ⁤to be operated by a “skilled operator” flying them from multiple directions before disappearing after causing disruption.
