Israeli Sources: Tel Aviv Has Requested Assistance from the United States
Israeli sources have highlighted Tel Aviv’s growing concerns over egypt’s military movements and its appeals to the United States on the matter.
According to Mehr News Agency, citing Russia Today, Israeli Channel 13 reported that escalating tensions between Tel Aviv and Cairo are casting a shadow over the future of the peace agreement signed between the two sides.
The report states that for the first time in 46 years, this peace agreement faces serious risks. Tel Aviv is closely monitoring reports about Egyptian military deployments near the Gaza Strip borders with concern.
Israeli Channel Kan also revealed that Tel Aviv has asked Washington to intervene and assess both the nature and scale of Egypt’s military activities in the Sinai Desert.
A senior Israeli official added that such extensive military movements have sparked strategic anxieties within Israel.
