Security Measures for Trump Trap Macron in New York Traffic + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu,local reports state that Emmanuel Macron’s vehicle became stuck in New York traffic while en route to the French Embassy. The streets where closed to allow safe passage for Donald Trump’s motorcade.
Macron, who was in New York for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, was traveling toward the embassy when security measures for Trump’s convoy forced his car to stop.
The French newspaper La Dépêche reported that Macron approached a police officer to inquire about the street closure. He was then captured on video calling Trump and jokingly said, “Guess what happened? I’m stuck on the street because all routes are blocked off for you!”
The report adds that Macron chose to continue on foot and spent about 30 minutes walking through New York streets while conversing with Trump.
