Qatar’s Emir: Netanyahu Dreams of Turning the Arab Region into Israeli Sphere of Influence
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the United Nations website, Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stated Tuesday at the 80th UN General Assembly that ”the collapse of international system logic in favor of brute force means that the law of the jungle prevails. International legitimacy must be restored to its effectiveness.”
The Emir continued by addressing a “treacherous attack” on Doha targeting a Hamas delegation.Six people, including one Qatari citizen, were martyred and 18 others injured. He described this aggression as a clear violation of international norms and an assault on a mediator and peace-seeking nation. Qatar hosts delegations from both Hamas and Israel and has succeeded in securing the release of 148 prisoners.
Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani further asserted that israel’s true objective is to destroy Gaza and displace its population. There has never been any doubt that ethnic cleansing and imposing new realities on the region are central goals of this war.The Israeli Prime Minister harbors ambitions to turn the Arab region into Israel’s zone of influence, a risky delusion which Arab and Islamic countries have warned against. He proudly boasts about preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state and obstructing peace.
The Emir added that Israel’s Prime Minister seeks to prolong the war because he believes in what he calls ”all Israel.” Israel is dissatisfied wiht settlements expansion or ceasefires; instead, it aims to impose its will across neighboring Arab lands. Anyone opposing this is labeled either a terrorist or anti-Semitic. He expressed gratitude for international solidarity with Qatar, including an unanimously passed Security Council statement condemning the aggression.
Qatar has engaged in challenging mediation efforts to stop fighting, release detainees, and deliver aid to Gaza. The israeli Prime Minister proudly claims obligation for reshaping Middle East affairs over two years – meaning Israeli intervention wherever and whenever it chooses. Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani acknowledged recognition for countries recognizing Palestine.
